Holiday Concert: Music of Bach

Join us on New Year’s Day for some of Bach’s greatest hits! The ARTEK Singers, Saint Ignatius Choir,  and ARTEK Orchestra will be led by director Gwendolyn Toth in a festive concert of our favorites. The program includes the sublime Concerto in D minor for two violins, BWV 1043, featuring ARTEK’s violin leader Cynthia Freivogel and guest soloists Augusta McKay Lodge; the beloved Brandenburg no. 3 Concerto for strings; and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, part 2 with its heavenly Sinfonia for strings and winds, featuring ARTEK’s outstanding vocal soloists.
