DESCRIPTION:Join us on New Year’s Day for some of Bach’s greatest hits! The ARTEK Singers\, Saint Ignatius Choir\,  and ARTEK Orchestra will be led by director Gwendolyn Toth in a festive concert of our favorites. The program includes the sublime Concerto in D minor for two violins\, BWV 1043\, featuring ARTEK’s violin leader Cynthia Freivogel and guest soloists Augusta McKay Lodge; the beloved Brandenburg no. 3 Concerto for strings; and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio\, part 2 with its heavenly Sinfonia for strings and winds\, featuring ARTEK’s outstanding vocal soloists.
