Coming on Sunday, April 11 at 3 pm: War of the Words, the second episode in ARTEK’s new video series, Monteverdi’s World. War of the Words focuses on Monteverdi’s defense of his new style against the critic Artusi, through an examination of published documents by Artusi, Monteverdi and his brother, and others, together with music, commentary and images. Hosted by musicologist Barbara Hanning and ARTEK director Gwendolyn Toth. Each video will be presented on YouTube Premiere, free of charge to the public.
