SUMMARY:Madrigal Madness
DESCRIPTION:ARTEK singers join with the 2026 Madrigal Madness Fellows to perform Monteverdi’s 1587 book of five-part madrigals. The 19-year-old Monteverdi wrote in the dedication that these youthful compositions need “no other praise than that which is usually given to the flowers of spring\, compared with that given to the fruits of summer and autumn”.
